Parent's Notice of Procedural Safeguards
This Notice provides parents/guardians with important information about their right to be involved in planning their student’s special education. Procedural safeguards are the specific rules that make sure that parents/guardians know what the school district is proposing to do (“receive notice”), agree with the school district’s plan (“give parental consent”) and have a range of opportunities for resolving disagreements with the school district (“due process”).

Tiered Focused Monitoring Report - April 2023
During the 2022-2023 school year, Andover Public Schools participated in a Tiered Focused Monitoring Review (TFM) conducted by the Department’s Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM). The purpose of the Tiered Focused Monitoring Review is to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements focusing on special education and civil rights.
Programming
Preschool special education and peer programs are located at Shawsheen.
The Bridge program is located at Shawsheen (PreK), West Elementary School (K-5), West Middle School (6-8), and Andover High School (9-12).
The Excel program is located at High Plain Elementary School (K-5), Wood Hill Middle School (6-8), and Andover High School (9-12).
Language-Based Learning Disability Program
The Language-Based Learning Disability program is located at Bancroft Elementary School (2-5), Doherty Middle School (6-8), and Andover High School (9-12).
The SAIL program is located at Wood Hill Middle School (6-8) and Andover High School (9-12).
T3/SSP/TLC
T3/SSP is located at Bancroft, High Plain, and South Elementary Schools (K-5), Doherty (6-8), and Andover High School (9-12).

Transition Opportunities Program (TOP)
This program is a partnership between Andover Public and North Andover Public Schools. Students from both communities attend together.
