As a result of the district’s closure due to the COVID-19 virus, we wanted to provide updated information specific to our AHS community.
- Covid-19 Information: APS has created a website for the most up to date information about the Covid-19 situation in Andover. Please visit frequently for the most updated information.
- Building closed: the building will be until Monday, April 6th. Any updates or changes will be communicated in the coming weeks.
- Course selections: For current AHS students; if you have any additional questions in regards to your course selections, please email your guidance counselor.
- Grades: Based on guidance from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), these are non-school days in which we are only providing an opportunity for learning. All student learning activities are optional. Learning activities will not be graded. Please click here for APS At Home Learning Activities.
- Work assigned and collected prior to the closure on March 16th can be turned in for a grade and can receive a grade and feedback. All long-term assignments are paused until we return to regularly scheduled classes.
- Work permits: For the time being, the district will not be issuing work permits. We will notify you of changes or updates in the coming weeks.
- Education verifications: all education verifications will be on hold until we return to regularly scheduled classes.
- Transcripts: A Google Doc form has been created for record requests. All transcripts will be emailed directly to the colleges or summer programs. The link to request transcripts is here.
