The goal of the APS At-Home Learning Activities is to offer students and families support during this extended closure.
Andover Public Schools is committed to serving our amazing community during this unprecedented time.
The APS At-Home Learning Activities are not meant to replicate the traditional school day; rather, they are a way to provide continuity of learning for our students during this uncertain time. To help families assist their children in maintaining their skills while our schools are closed, we will periodically update the site with new activities. We encourage you to check back often to see what is new and to help your children continue to be excited about learning.
MA DESE has advised all Massachusetts public school districts that student participation is optional while schools are closed. Completed activities will not be turned into teachers for feedback or grading, nor will these activities count toward participation, effort or term grades.
The Massachusetts’ Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DESE) has partnered with WGBH to make additional learning activities available online and on TV. Check out https://www.wgbh.org/distance-learning-center for more information.
Additionally, we would like to thank North Reading, Natick, Woburn, and Worcester Public Schools for sharing resources. We are proud to work with collaborative colleagues across the Commonwealth .
