ANDOVER PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS WILL BE CLOSED THROUGH JUNE 2020

Andover Public Schools continues to closely monitor and respond to the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. The Town of Andover, along with a dedicated School leadership team, are prepared and actively developing contingency plans and decisions in accordance with guidance from local, state, and global public health authorities. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our highest priority.

On May 4, 2020, the district launched phase 3 of the APS At-Home Learning Plan for elementary students, middle school students and AHS students. APS has also created the APS At-Home website to help families while schools are closed. We encourage you to click the image on the right to see what is new and to help us keep learning alive.

  1. Flu Vaccination Requirements for all APS students

    Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, the influenza (flu) vaccine is required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) for all public school students. Proof of flu vaccination is due to your child’s school nurse by December 31, 2020. Read On...

As local and state public health experts monitor the outbreak, Andover Public Schools and the building custodians have implemented a set of operational upgrades and daily cleaning plans to maintain our high-standard on routine cleaning, with the addition of enhanced daily cleaning and disinfection of high-contact surfaces like doors, railings, table tops, light switches, etc.
