Full Day Kindergarten Information


Payment Information

Andover Public School’s Full Day Kindergarten is fee-based at a cost of $3,775.00 with a $500 deposit due at time of registration.  Full-day kindergarten classes are held during the regular school hours of 8:45 am to 2:45 pm.  Students will eat lunch at school and, if eligible for transportation, will be transported on regular school buses.  Full Day Kindergarten Applications should be submitted along with the $500 deposit check at time of registration.

Online Kindergarten Registration opens on Monday, February 25, 2019 for all incoming kindergarten students.   Your school will provide dates/times to bring the hardcopy documentation (also your Full-Day K application and deposit) to the school office, and screening dates and times.  

Over-enrollment in Full Day Kindergarten classes may result in the implementation of a lottery system.   Anyone not placed in a Full-Day Kindergarten class will receive a full refund of their $500 deposit.  Information on payment is included in this communication.

The payment of the fee does not provide students with any special consideration or entitlement with respect to their participation in the Full-Day Kindergarten program. Should a need arise for a refund, all requests for refunds must be made in writing to the building principal.  Refunds will be reviewed on an individual basis and processed at the end of the school year.   In most cases, refunds will be made on a pro- rated basis. Withdrawals must be communicated in writing to the building principals.  An administration fee of $100 will be deducted from the pro-rated refund for withdrawals after Wednesday, July 24, 2019.  The $100 fee is non-refundable.  

Full Day Kindergarten: Tuition:  $3,775.00

1. $   500.00 Deposit due at time of Kindergarten Registration
2. $1,275.00 Due on or before Wednesday, July 17, 2019
3. $1,000.00 Due on or before Wednesday, November 13, 2019
4. $1,000.00 Due on or before Friday, February 7, 2020

PAYMENT DEADLINE NOTICE: Please be advised that APS will not authorize any extended payment plan requests. If a scheduled due date for payment is not met, your child/children will be re-assigned to the school’s half day program effective the first Monday following the scheduled payment due date.
       
DISCOUNT- Eligible for a $100 discount if tuition is paid in full by Wednesday, July 24, 2019. ($3,775.00 tuition, minus $500 deposit, minus $100 discount: total balance due $3,175.00)


Registering More than One Child:  Twins/Triplets $3,397.50 per child
                    Reflects a 10% discount – other discounts do not apply

If there are any reductions to the final tuition amount (pending FY-20 budget approval at Town Meeting), an adjustment will be made to the last payment
