ANDOVER HIGH SCHOOL 2016 – 2017 ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAM INFORMATION AND REFERENCES
Andover High School (AHS) is preparing for the 2016 – 2017 College Board Advanced Placement Exams that will be administered during the first two weeks of May 2017 (May 1 through May 12, 2017).
To help you prepare for the exams we have gathered links to documents, information, policies and procedures that apply to the exam process and your participation in the exams. Please review this material to help ensure your success during the exams. We appreciate your cooperation.
GENERAL INFORMATION FROM THE COLLEGE BOARD

AHS TEST LOCATIONS
AP exams are administered over a 2-week period from May 1 through May 12. AHS administers the exams in 3 locations:
- Most exams are administered at Old Town Hall in Andover Square.
- Language exams with an oral component are administered at AHS and make use of the language lab.
- Some exams, where there is a space conflict will use the Cormier Youth Center.
- Exams for students with accommodations will be administered at AHS.

ACCOMMDATIONS FOR DISABILITIES
If you have a disability that affects how you test, accommodations are available. Please review the information at this link to understand the types of accommodations that are available and how to request an accommodation. Please note that the deadline for requesting an accommodation is February 17, 2017.
RULES FOR EXAM DAY
The College Board has established strict limits on items students may bring into the exam room during testing. Please review the information on this link to understand these rules. Also, review the attached document from AHS which discusses the rules regarding electronic devices (cell phones, smart watches, tablets, computers and any electronic device with communications capability) in the exam room.
Financial assistance in the form of reduced exam fees is available for qualified students. If you qualify for the free or reduced-cost lunch program at AHS, you may qualify for this assistance. Please speak with one of the contacts listed below to discuss your eligibility for this assistance.
