Volunteers make a difference in the schools

In the spirit of this Holiday Season, I’d like to personally thank all of the APS volunteers who contribute their valuable time and go that extra mile to support our schools each day.  From organizing potluck lunches, bake sales and classroom parties, organizing recycling efforts and fundraising events, to helping teachers with administrative tasks and reading to classroom students, every volunteer effort is valued and proves to be so beneficial to our school community and, most importantly, our children.

APS is extremely fortunate to have a deeply committed and dedicated group of volunteers who serve in so many capacities.  If you are new to the community, we welcome you to APS and invite you to become a part of this special volunteer group. It doesn’t matter if you only have 1 hour to give, every effort is most appreciated.

The following article provides a glimpse into some of the amazing volunteers we work with in this district.  I hope the article will inspire you and demonstrate how volunteerism can make a big difference and help build a strong community.  Thank you past, current and future Andover volunteers!
